Bio
Bonnie received an Honours BA in History from the University of Guelph in 1996 and a Certificate in Book and Magazine Publishing from Centennial College in 1997. After a six-week internship at Chatelaine Special Editions she was hired as an assistant editor for a five-month contract. She then moved across the hall to the Chatelaine editorial team and was promoted to Associate Editor.
In 2000 Bonnie relocated to northwestern Ontario and started her freelance career.
She is an associate editor with Canadian Health. Other clients include Cottage Life, explore, Today's Parent, Chatelaine.com, Reader's Digest and Outdoor Canada.
In 2003 Bonnie received a 2002 Silver National Magazine Award in the Editorial Package category. In 2005 she was a co-winner of the Canadian Mental Health Association Gold Media award for her article, [Happy, together].

Bonnie lives in beautiful Thunder Bay with her husband and daughter.
When she's not pounding the keyboard Bonnie enjoys canoeing, camping, snowshoeing and skiing.
